Katherine Sommerer graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, where
she received her B.A. in psychology and criminology. She received her J.D from William Mitchell College of Law. While at Mitchell,
Katherine participated in the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners Clinic. She also studied abroad in England where
she enrolled in classes to compare and contrast the British and American legal systems. Katherine has been successfully
representing our clients with social security disability claims since she joined Sommerer & Schultz, PLLC in 2005. She
also practices in the area of workers' compensation.
